What is publisher search and deal advisory?

An advisor prepares your project for publishers, finds and introduces you to the ones that fit your game and funding need, then helps you compare and negotiate their offers. You keep the final decision on every deal.

How it works

Step 1

Prepare the project

We review the game and tighten the pitch, put numbers on the remaining development costs and milestones, and agree on which rights you'll offer and what support you need from a publisher.

Step 2

Find the right publishers

We build a shortlist based on genre, platform, funding need and territories, make targeted introductions, prepare each meeting and track progress with you.

Step 3

Negotiate the deal

We compare advances, payment schedules, recoupment, revenue share, marketing commitments and rights, draft counterproposals and support the commercial negotiation. The final decision stays with you.

Fees

Preparation

€2,000

Agreed project scope

Representation

€1,500/month

Initial 3-month mandate

Success

5%

Of project funding attributable to our mandate and actually received by your studio

Representation retainers are credited once against the success fee, across all funding instalments. The preparation fee is billed separately and isn't credited. If no deal is signed, fees for work already done are still due. We take no share of the game's future revenue.

Example

Your studio receives €150,000 after a full three-month mandate. The 5% success fee comes to €7,500. The €4,500 of retainers already paid is deducted, so €3,000 is left to pay. Total GGA fees: €9,500 (€6,500 fixed, then €3,000).

All fees exclude applicable taxes. Each engagement covers one game and an agreed scope, and we only take on representation when the project is a good fit. Publishers make the funding decisions. Legal review and asset production are separate services.

Already have a publisher offer?

A one-off term sheet review is available outside the representation mandate: a written read of the advance, recoupment, revenue share, marketing commitments and rights, with a counter-proposal you can take into the next call. It is quoted after a free 30-minute call.

Your advisor

Every engagement is led by Cyril Guilleminot: 20+ years in games, including 17 at Gameloft, and a role as Global Director, Cloud Gaming. More about Cyril. French-speaking studios can read this offer en français.

FAQ

Which studios is this for?

Studios that have a playable build, a clear production funding need and publishing rights still available. Your location and target markets don't matter, and we cover mobile, PC and console games.

What happens if no deal is signed?

The preparation fee and the monthly representation fees for work already done remain due. No success fee is charged. Publishers make the funding decisions, so no deal can be guaranteed.

Do you take a share of the game's revenue?

No. The success fee is 5% of the project funding attributable to our mandate and actually received by your studio. There is no share of the game's future revenue.

Are you paid by the publishers you introduce?

No. We receive no fees or commissions from publishers. Your studio is our only client, so every recommendation and negotiation is made on your side of the table.
